Description

A fine Victorian floor-standing open bookcase in walnut. This superior example – not to be confused with lesser quality bookcases on the market – has beautifully well-figured timbers that retain an original untouched finish having a rich colour and patina. The design consists of an overhanging top over three adjustable-height lipped shelves all supported on a simple plinth base. This useful high quality bookcase is English and it dates from c.1880s.
