Quality Victorian Walnut Antique Open Bookcase with Decorative Carved Edge

Dating from around 1890 this fine quality Victorian Walnut Antique Open bookcase has a beautifully figured top sitting above a decoratively carved edge, that would have been carefully hand carved by a skilled craftsman of the Victorian period. It has three adjustable shelves and sits on a moulded plinth. The bookcase is a rich medium shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Approximate dimensions are:

Height: 121 cm / 47.5 inches

Width: 118 cm / 46.5 inches

Depth: 38 cm / 15 inches
