The satinwood used is of the finest quality and beautifully figured. It has been cross banded, both on the top of the cabinet along with the side panels as well. The top has a break front and moulded edge and sits above three astragal glazed doors, all with cross banded detailing and keys with working locks. Each cabinet is mahogany lined and contains three adjustable shelves. The bookcase stands on shaped feet and is a wonderful golden shade of satinwood with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
