Description

Stupendous four door oak bookcase c.1860 by the London makers Jenks & Holt. Standing a very impressive 10 feet long and 8 feet 4 inches tall with glazed four door top with adjustable shelves over a cupboard base, plus four drawers in the waist. Superb quality, of quartered English oak, with oak drawer linings and attractive carved detail. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops, with original maker’s labels. Key supplied. Happily it splits into six pieces plus cornice, waist and plinth for ease of delivery.
