Description

A fabulous quality 6 section Globe Wernicke oak bookcase c 1895 in well figured mid coloured oak. This bookcase is the top of the range for Globe Wernicke with panel sides, anodised brass bandings and architectural embellishments. It also has the unusual feature of spring backed bevelled glass sliding doors and the useful addition of a lower drawer in the plinth base. Each section with the original ivorine plaque to the back. Perfect for clothes, in a kitchen or its original purpose as a bookcase.

Size 36 ins wide 14 ins deep max at base and 75 ins high
