Victorian Figured Walnut Bow End 12 Door Bookcase.

Description

Victorian Figured Walnut Bow End 12 Door Bookcase. The stepped cornice having carved moulding below over frieze decorated with raised panels. The four glazed doors enclosing 8 moulded fronted shelves in two sections all flanked by incised panelled columns topped by scrolled corbels with smaller corbels to bases. The end bowed panelled doors enclosing four shelves each. All shelves adjustable. The base having six panelled doors with bow end doors again all having adjustable shelves. All flanked by conforming incised panelled columns as top. All sitting on plinth base.

The walnut veneer is on good quality mahogany carcass.
