Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
They each have a rectangular moulded top above a frieze with moulded lower edge. The body of each bookcase contains three adjustable shelves and stands on a plain plinth. They are full of the charm and character of a true antique and are a medium shade of walnut. They have a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
