This is a superb example of an antique mahogany open bookcase that dates from around 1840.
The mahogany timber is the beautiful, 'plum pudding' colour that is just wonderful.
Very well made throughout, the bookcase has a moulded cornice which is rounded well on the corners.
The back is original, being well panelled.
In excellent condition, the mahogany is a fabulous colour, now in our antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
