Description

Regency Antique Painted Pine Bookcase.

A very original, English antique country house bookcase with a beautiful pierced brass gallery upstand.

Dating from around 1820, this antique pine open bookcase is still in the original paint finish and is decorated with brass lions head roundels, faded gilt moulding around the plinth and corinthian columns up each side.

The white marble top is original aloing with the brass gallery.

The two pine book shelves are fully adjustable.

A fabulous, Regency country house antique open bookcase, in very good, original condition.

Now at Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
