Antique Victorian Library Bookcase

1900 - 1920
Description

A Superb late Victorian breakfront library bookcase in mahogany with boxwood string inlay to the doors. Each door in the upper section is glazed with 12 individual glass panes and wooden astragals with 3 adjustable shelves to each section. The base has 3 doors veneered with flame mahogany with a single shelf in each. The bookcase bears a label for B and H Jewell, High Holburn, London, WC. In excellent condition, it comes in 7 sections for ease of transport.
