A fine antique English pewter tobacco box of cylindrical form with incised banding to the drum, and a dome lid surmounted with an acorn finial. The tobacco jar is of very large size.
 
The tobacco box retains its original lead presser.
 
The tobacco box is in excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish.
