Lovely Large Georgian Silver Snuff Box

Stunning large silver snuff box dating to George 1V era. The exterior has a long ribbed effect with a decorative border to the lid edge.

The interior is gilt lined for protection.

The lid closes tight and the hinge is excellent. Overall condition is very good although there is a little wear to the internal gilt. The box is free from any monograns or engraving and is a good guage of silver.

Hallmarks to the base and lid are worn, though the Georgian head is clear and the date letter is m most probably for London 1827.
