Antique William 1v Mahogany Library Bookcase C1830 W6601/3.10

Description

Lovely antique william 1v quality mahogany library bookcase and dating from around 1830. It has a low cornice top above two glazed doors each with three glazed panels with mahogany carved divides and with beautifully carved mouldings to each corner. Internally there are three adjustable mahogany shelves to the painted backboards. The base has a squared edge to the top above a serpentine frieze drawer and two arched panelled doors with two internal adjustable shelves. To each side of the doors is a squared column with carved corbal supports and it stands on a deep plinth base.

Separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 82" high X height to base 36" X 18" deep X internal depth 9" X 42" wide

In very good conditionwith a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
