Description

Sheraton style satinwood and inlaid secretaire bookcase, having a bellform pendant cornice over twin astragal glazed doors, crossbanded and with boxwood stringing, opening to adjustable shelves, the base fitted a pull down secretaire drawer, further crossbanded and with cast brass octagonal handles and opening to drawers and pigeonholes, fitted beneath with two recessed panel cupboard doors, opening to pull out trays, all raised on bracket feet. C1890 91"high 49"wide 22"deep
