A Stunning Art Deco Silver Gilt & Cut Glass Cologne Bottle

A stunning example of Art Deco craftsmanship. This gorgeous cologne bottle has a glass body, decorated with blaze cutting to the centre and etched with flowers and bows above. There is a hallmarked silver gilt base which can be removed and has engine turned decoration. The matching lid is a screw top, seals with a cork and fits to a silver collar. Condition :- Very good with no cracks or chips to the glass. A couple of very minor fleabites, commensurate with age and use. The silver gilt base has a vertical surface line showing, which is not damage as it does not penetrate the gilding and is in the manufacture (shown in photo).

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Distortion to the makers' mark.
