Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A silver and enamel novelty watch fob from 1948 in the Edwardian style represents a traditional dartboard with black, white, and orange enamel detailing. The circular silver frame incorporates elaborate scrollwork ornamentation at both top and bottom, alongside an attached suspension ring at the apex for attachment to watch chains or keys. Clear and readable hallmarks appear on the reverse side of the piece. Measuring 4 cm high, 2.2 cm wide, and 0.5 cm deep, the item functions well as a decorative pendant or key fob. Collectors can display this piece within a gentleman's library setting or wear it daily as an accessory on a pocket watch chain. The durable silver construction and smooth enamel finish ensure lasting preservation for everyday handling. Enthusiasts of vintage sports memorabilia will appreciate the thematic novelty design and historical connection to the Old Bexley Dart League.

A watch fob is a small decorative ornament suspended from a pocket watch chain, originally designed to provide weight so the watch could be easily pulled from a waistcoat pocket.

Novelty watch fobs were predominantly crafted from sterling silver, gold, or brass, often decorated with vitreous enamel detailing to create vibrant, wear-resistant designs.

Authentic pieces generally feature silver hallmarks or makers stamps on the reverse or mounting ring, alongside genuine fired enamel rather than modern synthetic resin.

Antique watch fobs are frequently repurposed as modern neck pendants on fine chains, added to charm bracelets, or displayed on traditional Albert watch chains.

Clean gently with a soft microfibre cloth and avoid submerging in liquid chemical silver cleaners, which can erode decorative enamelling or delicate solder joints.
