Description

This large antique silver plated wine bottle cooler which dates from the first half of the 20th century is a good size, is made by American silversmith Grand Silver Co and is marked to the base with Wear-Brite.

This stylish and heavy bowl which has a wonderful plain design sits on it's raised foot and holds 4 bottles of Champagne nicely.

The heavy weight and good size would make this a stunning decorative piece for the home or ideal for use in a hotel, restaurant or bar.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: First half of 20th century.

Maker: Grand Silver Co. USA.

Marked to base: Wear-Brite. Trade Mark.

Dimensions: Diameter: 36.5 cm (14 1/4"). Height: 16 cm (6 1/4").

Weight: 1.874 kg.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some small marks, light surface scratches and a little light pitting/spotting. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the wine cooler is included and any other items in the pictures are for display only.
