Antique Silver Baby Rattle

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of an antique silver baby's rattle with mother of pearl teething ring. The silver body of the rattle is modelled as a whimsical jester with two small bells and a mother of pearl handle.

It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1924 and the maker Henry Perkins & Sons.

It is in good condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some minor surface marks and small knocks and some wear on the teething ring but nothing detrimental or untoward.

Approximate Dimensions :

Length : 5” (13cm)

Width : 1 1/2” (4cm)
