Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

These 1950s Danish Mid-Century Modern cufflinks are fashioned from sterling silver and guilloche enamel. Each piece depicts a cockerel with a white enamel body, blue guilloche enamel tail, and red details on the head. The surface shows smooth polished metal alongside vibrant translucent enamelling. Visible details include swivel back fastenings on the reverse of each cufflink, which rest inside a black jewellery box lined with dark fabric. The jewellery box has a hinged lid that opens upward. In a contemporary interior, these accessories function as wearable garments detail for formal attire, or sit inside a personal collection box when not in use.

Mid-century Danish silver jewellery is recognised for stylized nature motifs, clean geometric forms, and translucent enamel fused over engine-turned silver foundations.

These items are constructed from sterling silver, sometimes finished with gold gilding, and coated with glass-based vitreous enamel fired at high temperatures.

Authentic items bear makers initials, country of origin stamps such as Denmark, and silver purity marks including 925S or STERLING stamped into the metal.

Vintage cufflinks are worn with double-cuff dress shirts for formal occasions, or stored in felt-lined boxes and presentation trays within modern dressing rooms.

Wipe the surface with a dry microfibre cloth, avoiding chemical immersion or abrasive pastes that can cause micro-scratches on delicate glass enamel.
