Antique Oak Fitted Bureau | Side Cupboards

Antique 20th century good quality fitted bureau in oak, a wonderfully distinctive piece with an unusual design that sets it apart from more conventional examples. Standing on turned legs joined by supporting stretchers, it has a sturdy yet decorative appearance.

Two narrow cupboard doors sit to either side, each opening to reveal two internal shelves and providing useful additional space.

The central section projects outwards and features three drawers to the lower section, creating an interesting shape and adding to the individuality of the piece. Above, the bureau opens to reveal a fitted interior with useful storage compartments and a brown writing surface, providing a practical area for writing or working.

Its clever arrangement of cupboards, drawers and fitted compartments gives the bureau plenty of character as well as excellent functionality.

Gorgeous grain and colour can be admired throughout the oak, highlighting the quality and warmth of the timber.

In good condition, well made and of good quality, this highly desirable bureau is an impressive and unusual example with plenty of charm and individuality.

• Each piece is carefully wrapped and protected prior to dispatch and delivered by our trusted private courier using a two-person team.

• Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.

• Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.

• If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Collection is available free of charge from our stockroom at WR6 5JE, by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to arrange a convenient collection date and time.
