This Italian Art Deco bracelet dates from 1920. Made from 18ct white gold and platinum, the silver-coloured piece is set with 5.45 carats of diamonds. Eight irregular polygon-shaped links conjoin and articulate via horizontal scroll-decorated settings. Each three-dimensional scrolling link is embellished with twenty-two pavé set diamonds in transitional modern brilliant round and eight-cut formats. An integrated push-fit clasp secures the item, which also includes a safety chain. The reverse bears hallmarks for 18ct gold, platinum, and the maker F Chiappe. The bracelet measures 19.2 cm deep, 1.72 cm wide, and 0.899 cm high. Wearers use this accessory for special occasions and evening attire, pairing it with formal dress for significant anniversaries, milestone birthdays, weddings, or retirement celebrations. The geometric openwork design and articulated links provide versatility for evening wear.

Art Deco jewellery from the 1920s is defined by bold geometric shapes, clean linear patterns, and symmetrical openwork. Platinum and white gold were modern materials favoured for setting white diamonds to create monochrome contrast.

Pieces from this period were commonly crafted using 18ct white gold or platinum, constructed with hinged or articulated links and set with single-cut, old European-cut, or transitional-cut diamonds.

Authentic period pieces feature hand-cut gemstones, milgrain edging, hand-engraved details on the side profiles, and historical regional metal hallmarks alongside articulated flexible construction.

A geometric link bracelet functions as a versatile statement piece that can be worn alongside contemporary minimalist jewellery or alongside tailored evening wear.

Clean gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush. Store the piece individually in a lined box to prevent diamonds from scratching adjacent metal or softer gemstones.
