This Art Deco bracelet dates from the 1920s and is fashioned from platinum, set with diamonds and square-cut blue sapphires. The silver-coloured metal holds twenty-five pierced links ornamented with millegrain edging, diamond-shaped panels, pavé-set round-cut diamonds, and an integrated push-fit clasp with a safety chain. Under magnification, very minor surface wear is visible on the exceptionally gauged metal. The piece measures 19.5 cm deep, 0.39 cm high, and 0.731 cm wide. It is suited for formal evening wear at events celebrating special occasions, anniversaries, or weddings, and can be worn as a treasured heirloom accessory for galas and historical-themed receptions.

Art Deco jewellery, prominent from 1919 to 1939, is characterised by geometric shapes, bold linear patterns, and contrasting gemstone combinations. Craftsmen emphasised symmetrical structures, platinum mounts, and precise gemstone cuts to reflect modern industrial aesthetics.

1920s fine jewellery heavily featured platinum due to its strength and resistance to tarnish, allowing for delicate millegrain and openwork settings. These pieces commonly incorporated old-cut diamonds alongside square or calibre-cut coloured gemstones such as sapphires, emeralds, and rubies.

Authentic Art Deco pieces typically feature hand-applied millegrain edging, geometric platinum link construction, and period-appropriate gemstone cuts such as old European or single cuts. Looking for period maker marks, platinum fineness stamps, and signs of authentic bench wear help verify age.

An Art Deco geometric bracelet serves as a versatile statement piece that pairs equally well with formal eveningwear or tailored contemporary tailoring. Its crisp monochrome white metal and accent gemstones allow it to complement modern minimalist attire or mix with understated fine jewellery.

Clean platinum and gemstone jewellery gently using warm water, mild detergent, and a soft-bristled brush to remove dust and residue. Store the piece individually in a lined box or soft pouch to prevent diamonds from scratching adjacent gemstones or metal surfaces.
