Edwardian Amethyst Drop Earrings in 9ct Gold – Antique Openwork Floral Design

A charming pair of Edwardian amethyst drop earrings, beautifully crafted in 9ct yellow gold with an elegant openwork design.

Each earring is formed as an elongated oval, delicately worked with a double openwork frame and attractive teardrop-shaped motifs. At the centre sits a pretty circular arrangement of tiny flowerhead details, giving the earrings a wonderfully feminine and intricate appearance.

Two round faceted amethysts are set to each earring — one positioned at the centre of the floral design and a second suspended freely beneath. The four amethysts display an attractive soft lilac-purple colour and catch the light beautifully as the earrings move.

The delicate open construction gives these earrings an impressive appearance while remaining light and comfortable to wear.

Crafted in 9ct yellow gold, the reverse of both earrings is marked 9ct, and they retain their traditional shepherd's hook fittings for pierced ears.
