Description

Circa 1800. Large, quality George III mahogany free-standing partners desk in original condition. The rectangular top with a gilt-tooled, green leather writing surface and moulded fore-edge above three frieze drawers with crosscut oak drawer linings (a sign of quality) and original brass swan-neck handles, escutcheons and locks. The rear of the desk with three dummy drawers. All supported on twin pedestals with three graduated cock beaded drawers with original brass swan neck handles and with polished panel backs. Quality item in excellent condition.
