Description

A highly unusual and exceptionally impressive Art Deco dressing table, veneered throughout in beautifully figured bird’s-eye maple, displaying the distinctive grain and lustrous character for which this timber is so highly prized.

The dressing table features four mahogany-lined drawers, each fitted with original-style typical Art Deco handles, providing both practicality and an authentic period aesthetic.

The whole is raised upon an elegant rosewood plinth, incorporating shaped ends and a useful carved shelf, creating a striking contrast against the richly figured maple.

The focal point of this magnificent piece is undoubtedly the large circular mirror, which gives the dressing table its unmistakable Art Deco character and considerable visual presence.
