Unusual French Mahogany and Brass Revolving Book Caddy for Desk-top

Description

A very handsome and most unusual desk-top revolving bookcase, French in origin and dating to around 1900.

Made from solid Mahogany the book case centres around a central brass pillar withe the brass finial on the top used to revolve the bookcase. All panels are decorated with brass edging.

To give you an idea of size, the books I have photographed measure approximately 7 1/4" tall x 5" wide, this will give you an indication of which of your books would work with this piece.

Excellent condition, measuring 11 3/4" square x 14" tall.
