Antique 20th century linenfold bureau in oak, a wonderfully practical piece with traditional carved detail and plenty of character.

Well made and of good quality, it offers a thoughtful mix of storage and a useful writing space. Two large cupboard doors to the lower section open to reveal a spacious storage compartment with a single shelf inside.

A drawer above provides further space for smaller items, with the drawer and doors all featuring carved details and knob handles. The bureau top opens to reveal beautifully fitted storage compartments, creating a convenient place for stationery, letters and other personal items.

Linenfold carving adds texture and traditional appeal, making the bureau an eye-catching piece even when closed. The oak has a rich, warm colour with gorgeous natural grain throughout, complementing the carved work and quality construction.

Presented in good condition, this characterful bureau would make a lovely feature in a study, bedroom or reception room.
