Antique Silver Chronograph Pocket Watch, Guinand

Description

Antique silver chronograph pocket watch, Guinand.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is believed to be by Georges Henri Guinand. It is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark) 1911, together with an importer’s mark for George Dimier of Dimier Brothers of London. The case is in good condition, just one bruise down by the gold hinges, a flattened 1cm area, not too detrimental at all.

The glass lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is in lovely condition with original hands, a subsidiary dial for constant seconds and another to record up to 30 minutes.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
