The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Lemania Chronograph Pocket Watch to the 1930s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has a five digit serial number, Lemania started this numbering system in 1931. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed Lemania Nero, with both names being registered separately in 1906. The branding eventually evolved into Nero Lemania and became the company's designated label for industrial, laboratory, and military timing equipment. These high-precision instruments were famously supplied throughout the mid-to-late 20th century to institutions like the British Armed Forces and the BBC.

The dial is in good original condition with original pin-set blued steel hands. Two subsidiary dials, one for constant seconds and the other records up to 30 minutes.
The dial is also signed with the name of the original retailer, Camerer Cuss & Co of London, a renowned clock and watch making company who moved into retail with several shops in London including a famous flagship showroom in New Oxford Street.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
