The sapphire is surrounded by eight substantial old European cut diamonds set in a platinum coronet setting raised above a 18k rose gold shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut: Cushion cut sapphire and old European cut diamonds.

Colour: The diamonds range from H to J.
Clarity: The sapphire is eye-clean. The diamonds range between VS2 and SI2.
Carat: The sapphire is 1.02 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.20 carat.

Circa: 1910.
Size: Q 1/2 (UK) or 8 1/4 (US). Free sizing available.
Measurements: The pink sapphire is 6.2 x 5.3mm. The head of the ring is 13.1 x 14.1mm. Sits 6.8mm from the finger.
Weight: 4.79 grams.
