We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian cluster rings, created between 1901 and 1915, are characterised by intricate metalwork, delicate proportions, and the frequent pairing of diamonds with central coloured gemstones. The style emphasizes light, lace-like settings and classical symmetry.

Jewellers during the Edwardian period predominantly worked with platinum and yellow gold. Central natural gemstones, such as Ceylon sapphires or rubies, were typically framed by hand-cut diamonds mounted in silver-topped gold or solid platinum settings.

Authentic pieces from this era often feature hand-cut diamonds, such as old European or mine cuts, set in platinum or mixed metals. Look for hand-engraved details, millegrain edging, and period-appropriate hallmarks or makers marks.

An antique cluster ring functions well as a statement piece worn alone or paired with minimalist modern gold bands. Stacking it with slender, unadorned rings highlights the detail of the central cluster without visual clutter.

Clean the ring using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft-bristled brush to remove dust from behind the gemstones. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or harsh chemicals, and have the claw settings inspected periodically by a professional jeweller.
