Description

A fine example of a Regency Rosewood Davenport desk dating from c 1820, with original tooled Leather writing slope surrounded by a turned gallery, the slope enclosing a fine arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes,.with four useable drawers to the right hand side matched by four dummy drawers to the left, two tapering columns support the upper slope, all terminating on carved bun feet.

The desk is of overall good colour and benefits from having the original key.
