A fine and large collection of 18th and 19th century shoe buckles..

Comprising five matching pairs of clips and two single clips/brooches in total.

Rare to find such a large and impressive group for the collector, or to use individually worn as brooches (the two single examples are fitted for this already) or indeed as people do increasingly as chokers with velvet ribbon.

Would also look wonderful framed or displayed.

Fantastic weight and heavy and as you might imagine catch the light wonderfully.

The largest pair each measure 2.5 inches by 1.75 inches and the smallest 2inches by 1.5 inches.
