Antique 20th century Edwardian bureau in oak, a charming and beautifully proportioned piece that combines classic period styling with excellent everyday practicality.

Very well made and of good quality, this attractive bureau provides a comfortable writing space together with useful storage, making it ideal for a study, living room or hallway.

The fall-front opens to reveal a nicely fitted interior, thoughtfully arranged with compartments and smaller storage areas for stationery, correspondence and other essentials. Beneath are two useful drawers, both retaining their original decorative handles, providing further storage while maintaining the authentic character of the piece. The bureau also comes complete with its key.

Raised on beautifully turned legs united by a supporting stretcher, the bureau has an elegant and well-balanced appearance.

The oak displays gorgeous natural grain and a rich, warm colour throughout, giving the piece plenty of depth and character while complementing its traditional Edwardian design.

Presented in good condition, this handsome Edwardian bureau is both decorative and highly functional. A desirable example of early 20th century oak furniture with timeless appeal, it would make a perfect addition to any home.
