The Jewellery Warehouse has dated this Rose Gold Turquoise Brooch to the Edwardian era.
Crafted in warm rose gold, the bold chain design gives the piece a distinctive appearance while retaining the elegance associated with late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery.

Chain motifs are often associated with Suffragette jewellery, where they have been interpreted as representing the oppression and restrictions experienced by women and the struggle to break free from those constraints. The turquoise and pearl combination also gives this brooch the highly collectible look associated with jewellery from the Suffragette era.

The reverse retains its original pin fitting and is stamped 9CT, together with the maker's mark RHJ&Co.
This beautiful antique brooch is in excellent original condition. We have carefully cleaned and polished it, while taking care to preserve its antique character.
