Vintage 9ct Gold Ruby Bangle Dated Chester 1960

1940 - 1960
Description

This beautiful vintage 9ct yellow gold bangle by Smith & Pepper dates to 1960 and is a wonderful example of classic mid-century British jewellery.

The front of the bangle has an elegant engraved finish, decorated with a series of rich red rubies. Each ruby is claw-set within a delicate starburst setting, creating an attractive celestial effect across the gold. Engraved detailing surrounding the stones adds texture and catches the light beautifully.

The reverse is left plain and highly polished, providing a lovely contrast to the decorative front and allowing the bangle to sit smoothly and comfortably on the wrist.

The bangle is secured with a snap-in fastener and safety chain for added security.

Fully hallmarked for Chester 1960, it also bears the maker's mark S&P for Smith & Pepper, the renowned Birmingham jewellery manufacturer.
