Circa 1880 with adaptations. Exceptional quality, large Chippendale-style burgundy hide upholstered stool. The top in a quality buttoned burgundy hide with brass nails to the frame, shaped seat rails, with classical carved shells centrally. Supported on cabriole legs with shell-carved knees on deeply carved ball and claw feet. In excellent condition.
