The profusion of delicate cream pearls creates a wonderfully luxurious, softly textured appearance. The eight supple strands may be worn loosely draped for a classic layered effect or gently twisted together to form a richer torsade-style necklace, making this an exceptionally versatile jewel.
Measuring approximately 2.8–3.1mm, the oval to button-shaped pearls display attractive pink and green overtones and very good lustre. Their soft, silvery glow catches the light beautifully, while the multiple strands create remarkable movement and presence around the neckline.
The necklace is completed by an elegant fluted barrel clasp, crafted in 9ct yellow gold. Its sculptural, deeply grooved design provides a handsome contrast to the delicate pearls and forms a secure push-and-twist fastening.
At approximately 18 inches long, the necklace sits gracefully at the base of the neck. Despite the delicacy of the individual pearls, its eight strands and substantial weight give it a wonderfully opulent appearance.
The necklace is accompanied by a Birmingham Assay Office Pearl Jewellery Report dated 29 July 2026. The report confirms that the necklace comprises eight rows, each containing 210 non-beaded cultured freshwater pearls, and that the clasp has been XRF tested as 9ct gold.
