Magnificent silver lidded tankard, of the highest quality; in early 18th century pattern with tapered sides and a hinged lid and leonine thumbpiece. The lower half of the body is finely decorated. Top class maker of the period and in pristine condition. The capacity is three quarters of a pint/42.62cl.
