This pair of shallow circular Chinese porcelain dishes comes from the Republic period around 1930 in a Chinese Qing style. Each dish features a dense all-over floral Millefleurs pattern executed in pink, green, yellow, and blue overglaze enamels, accented by prominent peony motifs and a gilt rim. One dish has two tiny chips to the base, while both remain in very good condition otherwise. Each dish measures 34 cm wide. These decorative plates suit display on a sideboard top in a dining room or living room interior. They provide vibrant colour and maximalist pattern to an eclectic surface arrangement.
