1920s Art Deco Citrine Drop Earrings in 9ct Gold

A wonderfully elegant pair of original Art Deco citrine drop earrings dating to the 1920s, beautifully crafted in 9ct yellow gold.

Each earring features two round, faceted citrines of a rich honey-gold colour. The upper citrine is suspended beneath the screw-back fitting, leading to a finely constructed tapered openwork gold panel. A second citrine is set at the base, creating a graceful and beautifully balanced drop.

The distinctive geometric design is characteristic of the Art Deco period. The fine radiating gold bars give the earrings an architectural quality, while retaining a light and delicate appearance when worn. Both citrines are articulated, allowing the earrings to move gently and catch the light.

They retain their original traditional screw-back fittings and are therefore suitable for non-pierced ears. Each fitting is clearly stamped 9ct.
