Produced by the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company in 1928, this fine cabinet plate is hand-painted and signed by the accomplished factory artist Albert Shuck. The underside retains the original Bonhams auction labels, providing documented auction provenance.The richly decorated cobalt blue border is enhanced with burnished hand-applied gold ornament and finely executed raised jewelled (pearl) gilding, framing the beautifully painted fruit study.The central reserve depicts two ripe pears and a cluster of dark grapes amongst delicate flowering sprays.
