A splendid George II 18th century silver salt with 3 pad feet. Hallmarked for London 1756 by David Hennell I, with blue glass liner.
 
Measuring 7 cm wide x 3.5 cm high and weighs 45.1 grams (Silver only)
 
In very good condition for its 270 years, some surface wear and marks, sits very well on its feet. Blue liner in very good condition.
 
As you can see from the hallmark photos the makers mark is only partially visible but through a loupe you can see the DH for David HENNELL I which was used by him from 1756.
