Antique Silver Chalcedony Teardrop Earrings

Lovely little antique chalcedony drops set in silver. The beautiful luminous chalcedony gems each have their own unique natural colouring, in a palette of pale bluish lavender tones.
 
• Condition: Very good antique condition.
 
• Fixing: Sturdy silver wires, supplied with tiny silicone keepers to pop on the ends for security.
 
• Hallmarks/stamps: The wires are stamped 835 - a silver fineness indicating a likely German/Continental European origin.
 
• Era: Estimated late Victorian Arts and Crafts c.1880s-1910.
 
• Size: 3cm drop from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring. The top cabochons are 6mm wide and the drops are 13 x 5mm.
 
• Weight: 2.3g.
