Danish sterling silver necklace with cabochon rose quartz. 1960s. By Niels Erik From. Although he opened a shop in 1931 , the N E From smithy was first registered in 1944, when production became more prolific. Most of this modernist style is from the 1960s.
This rare necklace measures 39.5cm long x 1cm wide. Weight 46.8g. The cabochon rose quartz are set in slightly oxidized ''frames/mounts'' to bring out the lovely stones clarity. It has a ''hidden'' clasp. Excellent condition. Comes with Danish period vintage jewellery box.
