Smart Oval Sterling Silver Jewellery Or Trinket Box

A very smart sterling silver jewellery or trinket box. In an oval form with a hinged lid, Chippendale style border and a lined engine turned pattern with an empty circular cartouche. The underside of the lid has been gilt and has the original blue silk interior. Plain body standing on four cast scroll legs. Very good original condition without any inscriptions.
