Inside there are 2 adjustable solid oak shelves original to the bookcase.Condition is good with a pleasing tone and grain to the solid oak and light sensible aging having enjoyed a careful repolish in our workshop which has enhanced and highlighted the tone and grains to the English oak. Overall it’s weighty, sturdy and sitting firm. Altogether a fine looking piece.
