A very unusual and decorative silverplated tantalus modelled as a caged cockatoo. The decanter represents the cockatoo with a moulded glass body and silverplated head that flips back to reveal the pourer and stopper. The bird is surrounded in the cage by eight shot glasses which are all original and very heavy. The cage is exactly as a bird cage would be with a pair of double doors that are lockable and it does retain the original key. The whole is in good used condition with some tarnishing to the silverplate and some minor chips to the glasses. A wonderful and rare novelty bar item.
