A superb Italian solid silver letter opener. It is hallmarked with Italian 800 standard silver mark and the Official National Mark used from 1944 to 1968, I would date to to c1950s. It has been beautifully made and is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures over 6.5 inches (16.7cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 56 grams. A very well made example.
