Victorian Low Footstool In Walnut With Cabriole Legs & Original Fabric

An antique walnut footstool with a long, low profile and upholstered top, raised on four cabriole legs. The frame features a shaped apron with a scalloped edge, centred by a carved shell motif, while the legs curve outward with carved knees and taper to small pad feet. The timber shows a warm tone with visible grain and a gently aged surface.
The seat is covered in original floral needlepoint fabric, with a dense arrangement of roses and foliage set against a neutral ground.
