A lovely antique shaving stand and mirror dating from the late 19th Century. It stands on a turned support and tripod splayed legs with nicely carved and lined detail. The round mirror is adjustable in height and the brass support rod can be tightened by a wooden screw. The mirror itself also tilts and the angle can be adjusted by the screw on the back. The middle table section has two useful lift up storage compartments.The whole piece is in good original condition. It has developed a nice rich colour and is strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are some small marks, knocks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental or untoward.
